CELEBRATIONS Lt. Dan Entertains Bragg Families Gary Sinise (“Forest Gump,” “CSI: NY”) and The Lt. Dan Band performed a special, private concert for Fort Bragg military service members and their families, Saturday, July 31 at the Crown. Sponsored by American Airlines* (the offi cial airline of the Lt. Dan Band) and local businesses in the Fayetteville community, this tribute to the troops called “Operation Welcome Home” was a way to say thank you to all those who serve. Sunday, Aug. 1, 2010, the Chamber’s Military Affairs Council had an infor- mal send-off for Gary Sinise and the Lt. Dan Band at Fayetteville Regional Airport. It was this community’s way of saying thanks for their continued support of troops and their families at Fort Bragg.
