De- partment of Transportation. All four phases of the project are on the newly released list. Fayetteville has the 3rd priority slot and is scheduled to begin construction next year. While NCDOT had planned to release their draft Urban Loop Prioritization results and construction schedule next week at the Board of Transportation meeting a public records request by the Winston Salem media resulted in the release today. At- tached you will fi nd a statement by NCDOT about the Loop Prioritization Process, the results, and the construction schedule. “The Chamber is pleased to see that the eff orts this com- munity has made to educate the importance of the I-295 loop project has paid off .
