THETA OMEGA WE KICKED OFF 2024 by preparing for Rock Chalk Revue. Teaming up with Alpha Tau Omega, we won the Audience Choice Award for this year's production of "Bringin' Back Boogie" during the event in late February. In FEBRUARY, we hosted our annual Cupid's Crush Valentine's Day date party, organized by Director of Social Events Payton Elliott '21, and held our Sincerely Yours letter-writing party to send letters to friends and family and raise funds for St. Jude. On MARCH 8, our second and final philanthropy event of the semester was Delta Diner, our annual pancake bar fundraiser, planned by Director of Philanthropy Bailey Bowles '21. We raised more than $11,000, bringing our total fundraising amount for the year to $93,843. APRIL was a month of transitions and celebrations. • We held our officer turnover and celebrated our moms with Mom's Weekend, featuring activities such as pottery painting, bouquet making, and brunch, all organized by Director of Lifetime Membership Anna- Marie Larmon '21. • At the Sorority and Fraternity (S&F) Life awards on April 16, we proudly took home several honors: • Amy M. Long Schell Living the Values Award – Seville Croker '20, Previous Collegiate Chapter President • Outstanding S&F Leader Award – Hailey Meggers '21, Panhellenic President • Outstanding S&F Volunteer Award – Noreen Checchi Dupriest '92, Community Relations Advisor (Noreen is spotlighted on page 4 of this issue!) • We also received "excellence" in categories such as Civic and Community Engagement, Diversity and Inclusion, Personal and Professional Development, and Holistic Wellness in addition to raising the most philanthropy dollars. Our final social event of the academic year in MAY was a Pansy Party formal, expertly executed by outgoing and incoming directors of social events, Payton Elliott '21 and Elizabeth Wright '21. To wrap up the school year, we celebrated our seniors with our annual Pansy Brunch, complete with a surprise mock preference ceremony. This summer, Director of Philanthropy Kylie Miller '22 and I attended the Tri Delta St. Jude Celebration on JUNE 28, where our chapter won the Outstanding Side Event award and placed fourth in funds raised within our category. In JULY, I also attended the bi-annual Tri Delta Convention in Orlando, Florida. All officers and members are now enthusiastically preparing for fall formal recruitment and another wonderful year with Tri Delta! We hope to see as many alumnae as possible during the house dedication in September. We can't wait to show you the new space and how much we already love it!
