By providing gifts of goods or services—ranging from supplies and equipment to technical services and consultation—donors can receive recognition equivalent to a cash gift. Not only do in-kind contributions reduce the cost we may pay for goods or services elsewhere, but they can also accelerate our building project timeline. In doing so, in-kind contributions allow for even further savings by extending the need for a line of credit. Already, Alpha-Lambda has received five generous, in-kind commitments, estimated at a total value of approximately $500,000*, including: • Randy Allworth '80-1053 – Landscape Architecture • Gene Trahern '81-1092 – Seismic and Structural Analysis • Bill Ketchum '89-1305 – Demolition, Excavation, and Site Preparation • Kevin Schindler '94-1419 – Landscaping Services • Geoff Jenks '07-1644 – Mechanical Engineering Additional in-kind contribution opportunities include: • Services · Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Low-Voltage System Design & Lighting Design • Construction Materials · HVAC, Concrete, Lumber, Roofing, Plumbing, Electrical, Flooring, Windows & Doors, etc. • Subcontractor Services · Plumbing, HVAC, electrical, painting, etc. • Appliances & Equipment • Interior Design & Furniture If you have any questions about how you can contribute in-kind gifts or are interested in making your own contribution, please don't hesitate to reach out to Lambda Chi Alpha Educational Foundation Vice President Philanthropy Nick Bratvold at nbratvold@LambdaChiFoundation.org or (605) 553-4497 or Bruce Petersen '77-1000 at blessedinbend@hotmail.com or (541) 410-9426. *The $500,000 of in-kind contributions have not been added to the campaign totals at this time. They will be recognized once construction proceeds. Please Consider Making an In-Kind Contribution
