his winter, we kicked off our Penn State
Annual Giving campaign! Brothers
have already stepped up and given to the
campaign, which supports brotherhood
programming and communications. Will
you join them?
Dean Harbold '52 recently turned 93 and remains busy. He resides in
Laguna Beach, Calif., and has a second home in Three Rivers, Calif.,
near Sequoia National Park. He shares that the big fire in Sequoia Park
three years ago came within two miles of his house. Ever since, he has
been weed-eating at least four acres around the houses to hopefully
keep the fires away. "This keeps me healthy and fit."

Robert N. Pursell '65 retired from his medical practice after spending
over 40 years in the subspecialty of nephrology and functioning as chief
of nephrology at St. Luke's Hospital in Bethlehem, Pa., for over 15 years.
He enjoys traveling and watching the Nittany Lions football team on TV.
He resides in Bethlehem.
John Eisenhard '69 retired from the financial services business at the
end of 2018 after 40 years with Mass Mutual. He and his wife spend
most of their time in Vail, Colo., and a few months in Easton, Pa. They
enjoy visiting their six grandchildren who live in Middletown, Mo.,
and Colorado Springs, Colo. The rest of their time is spent traveling or
volunteering in Vail. "Life is good. I get together with some of my DU
brothers for a drink now and then and remember our DU/PSU days."

Randall "Jake" Jacobs '71 shares, "Despite last year's winter (about
soft snow), I still consider the North Lake Tahoe region the place to be
for me." He resides in Truckee, Calif.
Andrew Barnes '83 lives on Mt. Washington in Pittsburgh, Pa. He sees
Ned Eldridge '78 and Chet Zuchelli '84 frequently.

Keith J. Steen '87 loved his time at DU, even though he was only at
PSU for a short time. "I'll always remember how much fun I had and the
people I met and still keep in touch with." He resides in Peachtree City,

Marc Jankowski '11 recently traveled to Europe with his wife (whom he
met at a DU social) to attend her roommate's wedding in France. He also
had a great "brocation" with brothers in Dewey Beach, Del. Marc resides

Raymond "Remy" Chappetta '14 recently joined the U.S. Department
of Transportation as a program analyst within the Federal Highway
Administration. He plays a role in administering the billions of dollars of
the 2021 Bipartisan Infrastructure Law. In his free time, he is active in the
arts communities in the D.C. area. He lives in Silver Spring, Md.
