It will be over 20 years before another solar eclipse crosses the contiguous U.S. By then, we will have just crossed over 1,000 members of Alpha Tau—meaning it is increasingly more likely you'll run into another brother chasing the eclipse. As our bonds continue to grow (a warm welcome to the newest Omega Class members), I want to say hello to over 75 alumni who are receiving their first newsletter in years. Thank you to everyone who reached out to get these individuals our outreach. As you read through this edition of News From the Knoll, please don't overlook our final page. There are instructions on how to verify your contact information so we can continue to send you the printed publication. We are trying to reconnect with additional alumni, so please pass these instructions on to any brothers who aren't yet in the loop! There is much to cover between the Phi Award from PKT Nationals at the NYC alumni dinner, a report on upcoming renovations to the chapter house, and more from the members of our resident council. For those who have some newsletter catching up to do, visit phitaucornell.com for additional chapter updates. To enjoy as you read, or work on late-night spreadsheets, I recommend a teaspoon of dark amber maple syrup in your Bavarian beverage of choice. In phi, Rowan Reddy '18 Scott Conroe '01 Adam S.
