rom our founding in 1923 to the present, Epsilon Beta has pursued and attained high levels
of academic achievement, and we have been leaders in virtually every aspect of student life at
the University of North Carolina. With over 3,500 initiates, Epsilon Beta has influenced the lives
of so many women, cultivating lifelong friendships in the process. As we reflect on our centennial
anniversary, we must ensure we are continuing this legacy of excellence.
Enjoying a past filled with rich tradition and history, Epsilon Beta continues to excel. More than
ever, sororities play a significant role in the development of young women. This growth is crucial in
today's competitive world. In addition to the values taught by our fraternity, we acquire beneficial
assets, which include leadership, organizational, and social skills that refine our character. Often,
these traits are integral to our success and help make us the women we are today. Many Epsilon
Beta alumnae have gone on to be recognized leaders in their communities across the country.
With our past and present
secure, we look ahead to the
future. The following pages
detail a demonstrated need
for Epsilon Beta's forever
home at 313 E. Franklin
Street—a plan we hope you
can support. Together, with
everyone's support, this
transformative restoration
will ensure that all Epsilon
Betas, alumnae, collegians,
and future members alike,
are able to cherish our
yellow house on the corner
in Chapel Hill.
