CHAPTER CORNER
Hello from 512!
Whew!! We have had quite the busy year here at 512,
We have been so lucky to con nue growing together
as a chapter through programming, philanthropy
ac vi es, sisterhood events and so much more.
This year we have accomplished some great tasks
alongside so many highlights throughout the year.
In August we prepared for recruitment and welcomed
home 72 new members and four new members in
the Spring. Within the first few weeks of the school
year, we were able to par cipate and share Mizzou's
greatest tradi on: Homecoming. We were paired with
the men of Alpha Gamma Sigma, working relessly
on float, talent, and house decks--earning the tle of
2023 Homecoming Champions!
The Kappa Classic golf tournament was hosted in
the fall and raised around $50,000 for our three
beneficiaries: Cedar Creek Therapeu c Riding
Center, Kappa Kappa Gamma Founda on, and the
JED Founda on. We had our first ever Mental Health
philanthropy week this spring! We had several profit
shares, sisterhood events, and a pickleball tournament
to raise money for our beneficiaries as well.
We ini ated all 72 new members in the fall, four in
the Spring, and celebrated 148 years of Theta Chapter
during our Founders Day celebra on!
When we returned from break 19 new officers were
transi oned in and con nue to strive and work towards
the growth of Theta Chapter.
