A special bench was installed this spring in the side garden at the Psi chapter house. The bench is a physical tribute in memory of Lori Yost Nelson '82 and intended to honor her "True and Constant" love of Gamma Phi Beta. Lori's non-stop energy, wonderful laugh, and deep faith were hallmarks of how she lived her life—leaving Psi and all those who knew her encouraged by her brilliant example of "Love, Labor, Learning, and Loyalty." The bench was made possible by a group of donors—Psi sisters and friends—who came together shortly after Lori's passing in fall 2023 to honor her life and her legacy. Their wish was that all those who sit in the garden on Lori's bench be inspired to live bravely and laugh as often as she did. Submitted by Paula Rozicki Roberts '84. Remembering LORI YOST NELSON '82 Bench Installed at Psi House in Her Honor "Love grows strong in the crescent moon, All our years together will pass too soon. We'll be Gamma Phis together, and when we're gone, There'll be many more sisters to sing our song." (An excerpt from "Love, Labor, Learning and Loyalty" Lyrics by Unknown, 1980 Convention)
