This was a great testament to our level of recruitment efforts led by Vice President Recruitment Merritt Welch '21. To help improve academics, the chapter has initiated a more individualized study plan. With this method, we saw a 2.12% increase in our chapter's overall GPA and ranked higher in the Panhellenic academic rankings after just one semester. Our philanthropic efforts are a staple amongst our sisterhood. Our chapter was able to raise over $40,000 for Pi Beta Phi Foundation through events such as Wing Ching, Pi Phi Pizookies and member donations. Additionally, our Champions Are Readers ® program with Oxford Intermediate School led to us donating thousands of dollars and 300 books to children in after-school reading programs. Along with our own philanthropic efforts, we participated in or attended other groups' events, including the CASA dance competition, RebelTHON, Big Event and Greek Day of Service. On campus, Sara Austin Welch '20 is the Associated Student Body president of Ole Miss. Our chapter helped fund her campaign, and she was elected in Fall 2023. We also have many other members serving on campus, including our former Vice President Inclusion, Emma Grace Hale '22, who was elected as the Panhellenic Vice President of Inclusion for this term. Additionally, we have members in a multitude of organizations, including METP, ROTC, Ole Miss Ambassadors, Orientation Leaders, Diamond Girls, Ole Miss Student Dance and countless other clubs, organizations and honor societies. This year, we have hosted many sisterhood events such as build-a-bear, the holiday party, bingo and bouquet making. Our chapter hosted themed date parties and swaps with other members of the Greek community as well as Parents', Mom's and Dad's weekends. From left: Ella Mertins '21, Delaney Williams '21 and Emily Alberle '21. Increase senior involvement. The Executive Council has worked to provide the seniors with special opportunities to feel loved, like a senior Bid Day they never received during COVID-19. Increase chapter leadership communication with members. We have made strides toward this by creating a suggestion box, opening executive meetings to members and creating a mass chapter calendar. Host as many events for the entire chapter as possible. With a chapter size of over 530, it is difficult to find venues to host our members. Our member experience team has done a wonderful job of facilitating these events. CHAPTER GOALS
