Page 2 Growth and Development The chapter welcomed 34 new members in the fall 2023 recruitment class, three of whom were Balanced Man Scholarship finalists. These new members represent over 10 different majors, including insurance and risk management, chemistry, and operations management. We were honored to have one of our brothers, Will Bachman '24, represent Ohio Theta at the prestigious Tragos Quest to Greece, where only a small number of SigEp brothers around the country are chosen to attend. Logan York '25 also attended the Ruck Leadership Institute at SigEp headquarters in Richmond, Virginia, where he worked with alumni mentors on how to engage in meaningful conversations. In the fall semester, Ohio Theta held a professional development event called SigEp Startups, where various professionals spoke about entreprenuership. This was a seminar and panel discussion about how to create, build, and foster new businesses. In September, 25 brothers went on a brotherhood retreat to Daniel Boone National Forest, where they camped and hiked over the weekend. This event was successful in engraining the new brothers into the Balanced Man Program as well as teaching them what it means to be a SigEp. During Homecoming week, we worked diligently with the women of Tri Delta to build our float. It was a very successful week topped off by SigEp avenging last year's third-place finish with a win in the float competition. The chapter also hosted a tailgate where alumni were able to see our newly renovated basement. Focusing on Philanthropy Ohio Theta hosted a succesful philanthropy called SigEp shakes where brothers sold over 250 shakes to other fraternites and sororities. The semester was filled with excitement and outstanding leadership, and there is much to look forward to in the semesters to come. Fraternally, Riley Lohman '25 Alumni Operations Director A Momentous SigEp Fall Carrying Momentum into the Spring Brothers participate in the Greek Variety Show.
