S
ince our founding in 1948, Sigma Phi
Epsilon has been at the heart of Greek
life at the University of Maine. Rooted in
traditions of student and alumni leadership,
Maine Alpha has consistently set itself apart
from the pack.
As SigEps, we are bound together by our
ritual and its core values: virtue, diligence,
and brotherly love. Our journey is enriched by
accountability and mentorship, aligning with
our fraternity's culture of fostering balanced
men. Consequently, many of our alumni are
esteemed leaders in their respective fields
and communities, attributing their personal
development to their fraternal experience.
The connections forged with our brothers
often permeate our daily lives, whether
it's celebrating milestones like weddings,
staying connected through regular texts, or
reliving cherished memories during annual
gatherings returning to Orono. SigEp has
become an integral part of our identity as
men and members of our community, helping
to shape us into who we are.
As we contemplate the future of Maine
Alpha, we recognize the need for a home
that matches the quality of our chapter.
We also seek to honor the hard work
generations of brothers invested to sustain
our success. Since our rechartering in
2002, our organization has achieved
significant milestones, and we're committed
to continuing to build balanced men for
generations to come. Now is the moment to
secure our future.
