Redstone supports organizations that assist residents ages 55 and older to live life to the fullest. In 2023, Redstone financially sponsored events at the Senior Activity Center of Smyrna, Studio 60 Senior Center, and e Legacy Center. Senior Activity Center of Smyrna, TN is nonprofit organization provides a place where seniors, ages 55 and older, can gather for social, recreational, physical, educational, and travel opportunities! eir vision is to engage and enhance the lives of older adults. You will find activities here that include ceramics, travel, crocheting, chair aerobics/ yoga, creative writing, line dancing, and much more. Studio 60 Senior Center Redstone has long sponsored major events hosted by the Senior Center (formerly Huntsville-Madison County Senior Center). In 2023, Redstone supported the Retirement and Lifestyle Expo and the center's Casino Night. e center on Drake Avenue serves as the hub for member activities, nine nutrition centers where a hot meal is served, and community health outreach. ere is also fellowship, recreational activities, and transportation assistance provided for those unable to use the city shuttle service. Kevin Hall, VP Indirect Member Services at Redstone, began his first year on the Senior Center Board of Directors in January. He believes the center shares similar core values to Redstone. Both focus on providing high-quality services to its membership and the communities where they live. e Legacy Center e Legacy Center, Inc., offers the first and only nonprofit, intergenerational day program for adults diagnosed with all forms of dementia and Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) in Madison County. It also operates an after-school program. Events include the Annual Caregiver College and Back to School Bash. e center is located at 2212 Jordan Lane in Huntsville. Helping Seniors Thrive!
