ALPHA CHI OMEGA The Ohio State University 103 E. 15th Avenue Columbus, OH 43201 Address Service Requested LYRE LETTER LYRE LETTER Volunteer Volunteer Needed! Needed! Alpha Omicron Seeks Collegiate Chapter Advisor O ne of the greatest privileges that comes with finding success is the opportunity to pay it forward through mentorship. We are looking for a dedicated alumna who is interested in serving as our collegiate chapter advisor. The role involves collaborating with undergraduate leadership as they plan events and activities, providing insight and wisdom to help solve problems, and supporting current members as they grow into capable young leaders. Are you able to give some of your time and expertise to develop the next generation of Alpha Chis? To hear more about this rewarding opportunity, contact Leigh Fouts Johnson at leigh.fouts@gmail.com or (419) 309-9881 today. I originally joined Alpha Chi Omega because I admired the ambitious, sharp, and fun-loving women I met during recruitment. I felt at home right away! As an undergraduate, I enjoyed sharing the small moments of everyday life with my AXO sisters in the chapter house. Studying, going to the gym, and sneaking late-night snacks was always more fun with a sister. It was a once-in-a- lifetime experience to get to live alongside your best friends! I also loved planning outfits for the themed gatherings and supporting new members as they grew as individuals and as a part of the sisterhood. Seeing our women support each other throughout their collegiate experience and the rest of their lives makes me so proud. It's such a special connection we all can share. I have enjoyed staying active in the alumnae community because it has allowed me to connect with sisters from all eras who live across the country. My alumnae involvement has also allowed me to practice skills such as budgeting, event hosting, fundraising, board governance, and team management, which have directly benefitted my career. I served as the House Corp Treasurer until August 2023 and previously served as House Corp President from 2015-20. In 2013, I graduated with a bachelor's degree in public affairs. I now work in external relations and community affairs for the Ohio Chamber of Commerce. I get to meet business leaders through my job, and I credit AXO's recruitment practices for teaching me how to connect with anyone! I live in downtown Columbus, Ohio, where I also serve in the Army Reserve as a mass communication and public affairs specialist. I love being a United States soldier because of the opportunities it affords me to travel, meet new people, and share the Army's story! In my free time, I enjoy hiking/camping/exploring outdoors, and training in jujitsu. If you'd like to connect, send me an email at nataliepantalos@gmail.com.
