A Home We Can A Home We Can All Be Proud Of All Be Proud Of CHAPTER HOUSE MAINTENANCE AND RENOVATION UPDATE 2023 was a busy year at the Alpha Omicron house! In addition to the usual maintenance, cleaning, and security enhancements, we had the opportunity to tackle some fun upgrades for our facility. Exterior improvements included fresh concrete for the front patio and walkway, a new coat of pavement for the driveway, critical structural rehabilitation improvements to the roof, and a 360-degree landscaping refresh. On the interior, Local House Corporation focused on making the home more comfortable with fresh paint and furniture on the first floor, updated dishes, a new stove and refrigerator added to the kitchen, an upgraded laundry setup (no more coins!), and replacement mattresses. We are excited to keep the momentum going in 2024! Our main priority this summer will be renovating the second and third floor bathrooms, which has been the undergraduates' number one request. Looking ahead, the house corporation has completed the strategic planning steps to execute a full renovation of the house. If you are interested in getting involved, there are many opportunities with varying commitment levels!
