What a fan- tastic fi rst month of the new year we have had here at the Quartzsite Sal- vation Army Thrift Store. Our sales have been amazing, our donations are never ending, and we have had many nice compliments on the ap- pearance, organization, and clean- liness of our thrift store. We have phenomenally hard-working volun- teers and such fun and interesting customers. We are so appreciative of the kindness of our shoppers. Come see our gorgeous St. Pat- rick's Day and Easter items. Volun- teer Merry Mary does such a beau- tiful job with our displays. She has worked many hours and so enjoys her "job"! Thanks so much, Mary! Please watch our postings on Facebook for weekly sales and an- nouncements. I try and post on our Salvation Army Thrift Store Group, as well as Quartzsite Chatter, What's Up Quartzsite Arizona Group and Quartzsite Support Local Business- es Group. Some of our more unique items available are: New Keystone "Rap- tor" screen wall, Very large cat en- closure with tunnel, a new class C motorhome cover, vintage wooden box or truck with unusual imbed- ded line on stones, a nice Huffy large wheel bicycle, a wall mounted wooden animal head-not sure if reindeer or antelope, several very large framed mirrors, a new size 4X Propain Urban Culture jeans and jacket, and a CE Multi-Channel monitor. Holly, our awesome clerk, extends her appreciation to those that bring fl attened bags to us. It really helps her as she is so very busy at the reg- ister. Please note that we can only take fi fty- or hundred-dollar bills when your purchase is near those amounts. We appreciate your under- standing. We do accept credit and debit cards, as well as Apple Pay and Google Wallet. We cannot process American Express transactions. Please continue to donate your un- needed eyeglasses, computer ink cartridges, cell phones, as well as outdated prescription medications. We recycle all to the appropriate agencies. Don't forget our adult and child dia- per program is always available. This is a monthly program with a simple sign-up procedure. Please ask. We also have a large assortment of medical devices that are available on a loan-out basis with a refund- able deposit upon the item being returned. We continue to have free shoes, socks, and miscellaneous items out front of the store and a free clothing rack and food available inside each day. Please understand that our build- ing has no windows, no air exchange ventilation, our aisles are tight, and we have many senior volunteers with health concerns. We are asking for personal space of six feet (camel length) and recommending, not re- quiring, a face covering- which we provide, for both us and our amaz- ing shoppers. We appreciate your understanding. Quartzsite Salvation Army Thrift Store & Service Center #DoingTheMostGood 101 South Moon Mountain Avenue Store 928-927-3636 Cell 360-921-7571 PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE….
