GETTING TO KNOW
Housemom
Robin Terronez
W
e have the best housemom on campus, and we'd
like you to know her!
Robin Terronez, affectionally named "Mom Rob" by
the actives, has been with us 8 1/2 years. She is loved
and adored by the girls and enhances their sorority
experience every day. She goes above and beyond in
every way, planning activities such as:
• Themed formal dinners that are interactive and fun.
Themes have included Harry Potter, Hawaiian,
multicultural, Veterans Day, Mardi Gras, and Barbie.
• Personal cards for each Kappa on her birthday
with a chocolate kiss and a motivational quote.
• Annual Easter egg hunts, Galentine's Day games,
karaoke, and TV nights.
• Baking cookies for all events, bringing joy
and fun memories!
Most of us never knew what our housemom did behind the scenes, so let us tell you! Robin
is our property manager, which is a full-time job. She coordinates repairs (which happen
weekly), oversees the housekeeper and the kitchen, manages the yard/flower beds, and
makes sure the house is always in tip-top shape.
Robin had an interesting life pre-Kappa. She is an OSU alumna, has a degree in art with
a focus on interior design, and has used her skills to improve the look of our beautiful
house. As a military spouse, she's lived in eight states and Italy, and she has experience
in management and human resources. A highlight of her life was being selected to help
decorate the White House for Christmas as a volunteer designer in 2022.
Robin has three children and nine grandchildren, which are her joy. She owns a condo in
St. Pete Beach, Florida, where she spends her time off and with her family.
Robin's support of our actives and management of our property is exceptional. Your Kappa
House Board holds the highest trust in Robin, and we are thankful for her commitment to
our chapter!

"It's a privilege
and one of my life's
greatest endeavors
to serve as the
housemom for so
many amazing
Kappa women! I've
been able to love and
mentor almost 700
young women in my
tenure here, and they
have impacted my
life much more than
I've impacted theirs."
