SIGMA NU 2 Gamma Chi Facility Updates I n recent years, we've been dedicated to extensive exterior and interior projects to preserve and elevate our 107-year-old facility. These enhancements are pivotal in ensuring Sigma Nu remains a competitive leader within the Greek system. ON THE OUTSIDE Our priority has been maintaining structural integrity. This includes significant tasks such as tuck-pointing of brickwork, installing new windows, eliminating lead paint, applying fresh coats of paint, and replacing deteriorated beams above main floor windows with durable steel ones. ON THE INSIDE We've completely revamped our kitchen and added a 24-hour self-serve kitchen. Moreover, we have upgraded the interior doors and flooring across multiple floors, have implemented a state-of-the-art fire alarm system, and are now constructing a new second-floor bathroom. WHAT'S NEXT? Our focus remains on further elevating our chapter house to compete with the best housing options at UW and in the surrounding areas. Our plans include creating versatile study/sleep/lounge spaces, updating individual rooms, and fortifying essential security measures. NEWS FROM THE CLUBHOUSE Chapter House Maintenance Update Join Us in Welcoming Bryan and Mark to the Alumni House Management Team! W e are delighted to announce the newest additions to our alumni team, Bryan Roberts '82 and Mark Hazard '81, who will be taking on pivotal roles as Alumni House Managers. Both Bryan and Mark bring a wealth of experience and dedication in addition to their profound connections to our beloved alma mater. In their roles as Alumni House Managers, Bryan and Mark will collaborate closely with the on-campus chapter's leadership team, including current House Managers Josh Champlain and Logan Maloney, aiming to fortify the bridge between past and present. Their mission is crystal clear: to enhance response times to our youngest brothers' concerns, streamline communication channels, and bolster the synergy between alumni and current members.
