aturday, November 18, marked an extraordinary milestone at the chapter
house—an alumni event hailed as the most unforgettable in 35 years!
Generations of Sigma Nu members gathered to share a memorable experience as they
witnessed the No. 4 Huskies' triumph over Oregon State.
For many, this event signified a heartfelt homecoming after decades apart. Alumni,
some absent for more than 50 years, reunited to rediscover familiar spaces, rekindle
enduring friendships, and witness the evolution of the chapter house. The afternoon
was enriched by the presence of Thad McArthur '47, Blake Edwards '52, and Jeff
Skillingstad '67, who shared captivating stories that seamlessly intertwined past and
present. McArthur's generosity in sharing his UW Tyee book and anecdotes bridged
eras and enriched the fraternity's collective narrative. During halftime, a touching
tribute honored Chef Geri Spensley Mihok, a cherished part of the Sigma Nu family
for over 20 years.
We also want to share our heartfelt
appreciation for Jeff Roberts '81, whose
40+ years of dedication to Gamma Chi
profoundly influenced the fraternity's
success and cemented its legacy.
Let's carry this spirit forward as we unite
to create more extraordinary moments
that define our timeless bond as Sigma
Nu brothers!
