Tri Delta 14951 North Dallas Parkway, Suite 500 Dallas, TX 75254 Address Service Requested T hey say you can't go home again … but we want to help you try! We are bringing DDD B&B to YOUR alma mater—Kansas State University—at the beautiful Theta Iota Chapter House. DDD B&B is an opportunity to plan a weekend trip with your new member class, a getaway with sisters or a solo retreat with "bed and breakfast" accommodations at Tri Delta chapter houses. We hope you'll join us for the weekend, where reminiscing about your college days meets brand-new memories! DDD B&B Weekend June 21-23, 2024 At the Tri Delta House at Kansas State University Cost: $333 Scan the QR code to learn more and register today! A Tri Delta Summer Sleepover! Spend a Weekend at K-State FRIENDS AND FAMILY Our first date party of the year was "Denim and Diamonds," as chosen by our new members; everyone and their dates had a wonderful time. We have also enjoyed mixers with fraternities. Our mixer with Sigma Chi was themed "Why Is This in My Closet?!" This year, we hosted a siblings weekend alongside K-State's family weekend, with members welcoming their whole families to campus. We made t-shirts, hung a banner outside the Chapter House, and had snacks and goodies—plus we enjoyed a great time at the football game! EMBRACING OUR COMMUNITY… Theta Iota is working hard to raise $80,000 for St. Jude this school year, surpassing last year's total of $74,883. In September, we had our first philanthropy event, St. Jude Land. This event consisted of yard games, hot dogs, cotton candy, and a dunk tank; we raised over $3,800! A November highlight was our annual DHOP event, with unlimited pancakes and bacon for our paying guests. This fall, Tri Delta won Pi Kappa Alpha's annual Fireman's Challenge, which supported Kansas State's Johnson Research Center (plus St. Jude, thanks to our victory!). Our chapter also won the KSU philanthropy event "Wildcats Give 10 For The Cure." …AND ONE ANOTHER The first sisterhood event of the year was a movie on our front lawn. Everyone put on pajamas and grabbed their blankets for a fun evening with 10 Things I Hate About You. Director of Membership Experience Sadie Stock '22 worked super hard to plan this event. She rented and set up a big screen and made popcorn for everyone! Sisters also adored our annual Pine Party, complete with cookie decorating, holiday movies on our new TV in the social room, a gift exchange, and a hot chocolate bar. With 2023 winding down, we'd like to thank our alumnae and families for their unwavering support this year. Stay tuned for more spring events, and we hope to see some of you in Orlando at next year's Convention!
