Colorado Delta has been busy this year! Receiving Recognition This summer, our members were busy with internships, part-time jobs, and summer classes. Ethan Hansen '24, Brandon Potts '25, Matthew Crabtree '25, and I also had the opportunity to attend Conclave in San Antonio, Texas, this summer. At the event, our Chapter received the Cornerstone Award, which is given out for Chapter House renovations, and our second-consecutive Buchanan Cup. Matthew Crabtree was also elected to the National Board of Directors as a student representative. Brotherhood and Academics This semester, Colorado Delta gained 25 new members, which brings our Chapter to over 90 total active members. We continue to bid year- round through the 365-bidding process. Due to our hard work in the spring semester, we're continuing our streak of having the highest GPA of all Greek organizations. A Time for Celebration At the beginning of the fall semester, we participated in the M-Climb tradition, where over 40 brothers and members of Sigma Kappa cheered on the first-year students as they climbed to the M to place their rocks. Later in the semester during Homecoming, we held our 100-year celebration! On Friday, our Chapter did a meet-and-greet after campus tours were given. On Saturday, we had a tailgate before the football game and then a banquet where we celebrated with alumni from years back to the '70s. Throughout the rest of the semester, our Chapter strived to win the Chapter of the Year award at the Fraternity and Sorority Life banquet and aimed to keep our streak going with our high GPA.
