Thirty seven scouts along with leaders and parents made the journey to Klamath Falls, Ore. There the boys were able to experience archery, bb guns, leather working, wood working, swimming, hiking, and many more scout skills. One of the highlights was the polar bear swim, which included jumping into the lake and singing at 6:30 in the morning. The campers were entertained by skits and even put on a show for the other campers to enjoy. These second- through fifth-graders also learned the history of the American flag. They learned what it means to respect the flag, their country, their pack and themselves. Teaching these young men the Cub Scout motto to "Do Your Best," will stay with them long after camp is over.
