This award is a testament to the dedication and hard work of our entire Chapter. The cup was proudly accepted by Chapter President Liam Curran '25, who represented us at Conclave in San Antonio, Texas. Read the specifics on page 4! ON TOP OF ACADEMICS Our brothers have been excelling in their studies, with several members achieving notable academic milestones. Our Chapter GPA has reached a cumulative 3.4, which once again places us as the highest Fraternity on Greek Row. Academic success goes hand in hand with our mission to develop well-rounded individuals who contribute positively to their communities. We hope to continue this expectation of academic strength, helped by an academic success plan managed by VP of Scholarship Peyton Burpee '25. Brothers who are falling behind in grades can learn study habits that can pull them out of a rut. COMMITMENT TO COMMUNITY Our commitment to philanthropy remains unwavering. We recently completed our annual Queen of Hearts competition, where seven incredible contestants raised a remarkable $3,530 for Meals on Wheels. This accomplishment reflects the generosity and community-minded spirit of our Fraternity, and we are proud to contribute to such a worthy cause. We were fortunate to have so many people support this cause and the amazing women who competed to be our Queen of Hearts! We plan to host many more philanthropy events in the near future, including SigEp Quesadillas, to support Meals on Wheels. We are proud of our accomplishments this fall, and we look forward to remaining a premier Fraternity at WSU. HFF, Sam Palmgren '26 Outgoing VP of Communications Washington Alpha Does Its Part Again! Thank you to all the brothers who contributed to the annual Founders Day of Giving campaign. Over $1 million dollars were raised, nationally, helping our 12,000 college men build relationships and a sense of belonging, find purpose and understand their potential, and develop skills and values that will guide the rest of their lives. Special thank you to Blake Martens '09, who lead the efforts for Washington Alpha alumni to contribute their meaningful impact to this brotherhood. Kappa Kappa Gamma Maggie Rasch has been crowned our Queen of Hearts! Maggie raised $1,473 out of our total $3,530 for Meals on Wheels. Liam Curran '25 accepts the Gold Buchanan Cup in front of SigEps from across the nation at the closing ceremonies of the Grand Chapter Conclave in San Antonio, Texas.
