we welcome our 2,500th member,
Ethan Anderson '23 E-2500. As
the first TKE Chapter to reach
this membership accolade, we
invite you to recall your place in
Epsilon history and see how far our
fraternity has come in 108 years.

Chapter officers with Ethan Anderson '23 E-2500
Seven Iowa State College students meet
on Welch Avenue and decide to form an
organization to strengthen their shared ideals.
The "Seminoles" are formed.
Elmer Kaser 1915 E-1 begins discussion to
turn the Seminoles into a TKE Chapter.
Grand Prytanis Straight travels with TKE
officers to install the Seminoles as
Epsilon Chapter.
The original wing of the present Chapter House
is constructed after 20 Fraters provided capital
to purchase the lot at 224 Ash, following the
prior Chapter House becoming quarters for
WWI Army officer trainees.
TKE produces campus leaders, varsity athletes,
and wins several awards for the trophy case.
The original Chapter House mortgage is
ceremoniously burned after the mortgage is
retired.
George Burnet '42 E-333 is elected Prytanis.
Thirty men return from global military service
assignments, reorganizing Epsilon Chapter.
Millard "Spike" Kratochvil, Drake '40
becomes Epsilon's new Chapter advisor.
"The year" sees Epsilon Chapter awarded with
four campus activity trophies within one week, and
Epsilon was named Top Teke Chapter in the nation.
