Rho Chapter Strand of Pearls 2 W ith events such as a bracelet-making party, ice pop trucks, and more, our chapter hit the ground running and tackled the fall semester with enthusiasm! GIVING BACK In the spring, VP of Philanthropy Talia Moses '22 conducted a successful Phi Trotters event where our chapter raised over $17,000 for our philanthropy, Sharsheret. We also hosted our annual basketball tournament, which allowed our members and many more to participate in a bracket. This semester, we celebrated Pink Day and sold candygrams that were delivered all over campus. We also enjoyed Red Week in November, where we hosted a whole week of events, which included Pie a Phi, a bake sale, fundraising at our favorite local spots, and a fan favorite: Say Cheese! TOMORROW'S LEADERS President Shelby Fisher '22 and Vice President of Recruitment Shelby Wineburg '22 had the amazing opportunity to travel to Memphis and unite with sisters from the Atlantic to the Pacific at Alpha Epsilon Phi Convention. There, they made great connections with other chapter leaders, learned more about the foundation of our sisterhood, and discovered great new ways to make our chapter better. NEW SISTERS We began the semester with a small but meaningful informal recruitment. We successfully introduced two new members to our chapter. Following a s'mores-themed Bid Day, our new member educator taught them the importance of our foundation and history. We also enjoyed a fun date party at a local venue called Cantina. The girls are looking forward to their initiation and making the most of opportunities to grow and learn in our chapter! WHAT'S NEXT? Rho Chapter has many more exciting events and activities planned for the rest of the year. We are looking forward to our exciting semi- formal as well as Panhellenic Service Week, where our chapter can participate in many different campus-wide events to win money for Sharsheret. We cannot wait for all the fun coming up for the rest of the school year! Thank you for your encouragement and support, Shelby Fisher '22 Chapter President Growing Stronger Together Undergraduates Share 2023 Highlights Sarah Snyder '22, Shelby Fisher '22, Jessie Kirschner '21, and Jess Cheifetz '21 enjoy our flower truck event!
