Why did you join Chi Omega? I knew during recruitment that the women of Tau Beta were different. You could tell everyone had their own personality, but they were all one family. It made me feel like I could be myself even though I may not be exactly like everyone else. The core values we shared made me feel at home and accepted! What makes you proud to be a Chi O? I am proudest of the way the sisters hold themselves. To be a part of a well-respected house where people are kind and extremely ambitious is something special! What are some of your favorite memories from the Chapter House? Always being able to just walk down the hall and see your friends was the best! My favorite memories are nights spent crowding into one room and hanging out with my sisters. Chi Omega brought me the closest friends I have ever had, and living together created some of my all-time favorite memories. Did you hold any executive roles? I was the external philanthropy chairman in 2020. What degree did you earn from Oklahoma State University? I graduated in 2022 with a bachelor's degree in human development and family science. Later that year, I also earned a graduate certificate in non-profit management. How did you get started in your current professional field? While serving the Chapter, I worked closely with our national philanthropy, Make- A-Wish. I was invited to apply for an internship in development and fundraising. This past May, after 18 months of interning, I was offered a job at Make-A-Wish Oklahoma as a development officer! It's become a full-circle experience because I am now the liaison for Chi Omega Chapters in Oklahoma and get to spend my days fundraising for an amazing mission. How do you stay in touch with your Tau Beta sisters? I text and call them regularly! They are my best friends, and being able to navigate life after college together is something I am so thankful for! How do you think Chi Omega helped you become who you are today? In one word: accountability. Chi O held me accountable in so many ways, and the responsibility that encouraged translated into my ability to be independent after college. Grace lives in Edmond, OK, with her boyfriend and two weenie dogs. She spends her days working for Make-A-Wish and rock climbing, camping, and reading in her free time. If you want to hear more about Grace's work with Make-A-Wish, you can send her an email at gwolf@oklahoma.wish.org. Tau Beta Chapter of Chi Omega Oklahoma State University P.O.
