"SigEp has provided me friendships and opportunities that exist today. The leadership opportunities were very formative and helped me grow into the person I am." Balanced Man Steward Jeff Keltner '02 Profession: Business development in the technology sector (most recently at Upstart) Why he volunteers: "SigEp was a very important part of my Stanford experience that I want to make sure is available to more students moving forward. As a chapter president, I know how much work goes into making the chapter a success, and I hope to be a resource to the undergraduate leadership to help them be effective in their roles and to maintain a thriving chapter." SigEp's impact? "Some of my best memories from Stanford and many lifelong friends all came through SigEp, along with my first job out of college." President Ryan Denny '06 Profession: Venture capital Why he volunteers: "I was always frustrated that California Pi won a Buc Cup at every Conclave in the '90s (five in a row!) and my generation didn't continue the trend. It has been my goal since graduation to help our chapter once again become one of the premier SigEp chapters in the country." SigEp's impact? "I owe every job post- college (except for one) to friends and acquaintances I made through SigEp." Secretary and Treasurer Scott Chilton, MIT '08 Profession: Salesperson Why he volunteers: "I believe that being a part of SigEp provides opportunities for growth and experiences that significantly contribute to individual development as an undergraduate and beyond." SigEp's impact? "I have built strong relationships and had opportunities to grow and develop personally and professionally that would have been absent from my life if I had not joined." Chaplain Mentor Mark Quan-Tong '15 Profession: Physical therapist Why he volunteers: "I wanted to pay it forward and give back to an organization that invested in me. I hope to provide that same investment with the current brothers." SigEp's impact? "SigEp shaped me into someone who is not afraid to step up when times get tough. It also connected me with brothers who mentored me toward my career today."
