Al Hovey Jr. '56 and his wife, Sue, flew to Montreal in
September to spend three weeks in Vermont and Quebec,

Raul A. Grumberg '70 retired from the Army (as a long-time
reservist following active service) in 2005; he retired from his
DA civilian job at the Pentagon in 2014. Arch served in Desert
Storm and commanded a peacekeeping unit in Croatia. "As a first-
generation American (Panamanian-born), I can say that I love the
U.S. of A. with all my heart." Arch and his wife love to travel; they

Douglas J. Flash '76 is retired and living in South Lake Tahoe,

Gary F. Taverrite '82 has been married 36 years; he has four
daughters and three grandchildren. "I serve through my church
for the God Behind Bars prison ministry at Folsom State Prison.

Jon B. Mendelsohn '94 shares that his oldest daughter is a junior
at UF, studying wealth management; his youngest is a senior in
high school. Jon and his wife live in the Maitland/Winter Park area

com, and just celebrated our 20-year anniversary. Hope to see you

Michael E. Cox '95 is the proud father of a 13-year-old
daughter and has been a firefighter/EMT since 1998. Michael
is a captain at both his career fire department and his volunteer
fire department. He lives in Pineville, N.C., and tries to visit the
mountains often; he also loves kayaking and seeing live music.

freshman). He's seen several SigEp brothers in recent years in
