Greetings from your House Board president!
It's fall y'all, but I want to back up to our busy, productive summer.
Home Improvements
A lot went on this summer, including the installation of new carpet thanks to Casey
Carpet One and the construction of a beautiful new stage in the Chapter Room! We
needed storage for banquet tables that we use for Work Week/recruitment, so we plan
to house them under this stage (all 16 of them!). Big thanks to our Alumnae Association
for paying for these tables; we're grateful for your generosity! Also, our contractor,
C&M Interior Solutions, did a phenomenal job on this stage. We're very pleased!
Sharing Our Home
I wanted to share a couple of recent photos of gatherings at the lodge. Our home is too
beautiful not to share with others. Our fellow sister, Abbie Ancell '15, celebrated her
precious 2-year-old daughter at the lodge with family and friends, which made for some
darling photos! How cute is this?
I hosted a wedding shower for a dear friend's daughter, and it was the perfect spot
for us all to gather on a Saturday morning! Everyone just raved at how gorgeous
our lodge is.
Last but certainly not least, we had our September Alumnae Association meeting at
Patty D'Alise's beautiful home and had a wonderful turnout.
