The Council will be self-led and accountable to the three presidents.
They may be asked to undertake special projects and will be
empowered to make proposals to undertake initiatives. The time
commitment required for Council members will be minimal, probably
8-16 hours a year.
Alex "Fox" Davis '12 and Peter Reis '14, both former undergraduate
chapter presidents, are leading the efforts to create the Council. They
are inviting current and former alumni leaders and collegiate chapter
leaders to join the Council. Before Homecoming, Alex and Peter will
host an informational video conference call for interested alumni about
the mission, organization, and membership of the Council.
While membership in the Council is initially by invitation, any
alumnus who is interested in participating may join. If you would
like to join or would like to attend the informational session to learn
more about the Council, please contact Alex at alexander.d.davis@
gmail.com or Peter at pries55055@gmail.com.
T
he 2023 annual PKT Alumni Golf Tournament welcomed a decent
attendance of 34 golfers, all of whom were alumni due to a scheduling
conflict that did not allow for undergraduate participation this year.
An impressive $2,054 was raised for the Alumni Chapter Annual Fund and
$1,325 went to the 2110 Club, despite the absence of a formal raffle drawing.
This year's winners were a duo of returning champions: Greg Burgess '11
and Cory Millmier '12, each with a score of 75.
