TAU TALK ALPHA TAU OMEGA AT IOWA STATE UNIVERSITY I t's been a heartwarming experience to email brothers ranging from the 1960s to the 2010s. We should have a nice-sized group at our 115th celebration; nearly 50 brothers have RSVP'd! I have to thank Gary Flander '79 and Curtis Maly '87 for spreading the word and rallying large groups of Taus from their era! What's been the most special part of the process, so far, has been the sharing of memories from Taus as they RSVP. Many of you look back fondly on making VEISHEA floats and hosting the "biggest parties on campus" and shared sentimental notes about past exchanges with pledge brothers. Also, "We Are Family" must have been the chapter's anthem in the late '70s—several of you relayed that's the song that takes you right back to your time as an undergraduate. All of this has filled my chalice and reminded me why Gamma Upsilon is such a special place. For food and event space planning purposes, please RSVP to confirm you and any guests' attendance. If you are not able to attend we would still love to hear from you. Let us know what you've been up to and feel free to share a memory, song, or photo from your time at ATΩ!
