Thank you to everyone who attended our 2023 Founder's Day event Attendees enjoy their steak dinners. A s Alpha Sigma embarks on a new school year, the strength drawn from our brotherhood has seen us push ourselves forward on many fronts. GROWING TOGETHER Our recruitment chairman, Ethan Carbone '26, led our recruitment efforts for the fall 2023 semester. He organized many events for the chapter, including our Monday night barbecue, sports night, dodgeball, game night at Lydia's Lounge, and Friday night paintball. We would especially like to thank all who donated to our fundraiser so that we could host the paintball night. With our special events and the efforts of all brothers, we were able to gain nine excellent associate members this fall; they will be initiated at the end of October. We also have a couple more potential new members who are interested in joining us in the spring. With this possibility, we will continue to push informal recruitment through the rest of the semester and into the new year. GIVING BACK We continue to work hard with our philanthropies. Led by Eric Winkleman '23, we volunteered at a local Habitat for Humanity Restore over the spring semester, held an awareness event for multiple sclerosis, and participated in Walk MS. This fall, we will be participating in a build day with Habitat for Humanity. Thank you to everyone who helped donate to make this build day happen! REAPING REWARDS Alpha Sigma earned three awards from Nationals. The first was for receiving accreditation, another was second place for best social media for our Facebook page. Finally, we received the status of an All-True Men Chapter. It has been a few years since we last earned this status, and we are proud to be one of the exclusive few chapters to receive this honor. As we continue into our new school year, our chapter is excited to build off our recent success to further advance our brotherhood!
