A Redstone employee for 40 years, she has also served with the Rotary Clubs since 2005. From 2012-2013, Evans served as president of the Rotary Club of Greater Huntsville and held district positions that grew in responsibility over time. In July, she became the Rotary District 6860 Governor and will govern through 2024. Her district covers central and north Alabama. Evans' work with Rotary provides similar opportunities to serve as her position at Redstone where she is Senior Assistant Vice President of Community Relations. Evans and her staff are responsible for Redstone's community involvement programs for the Alabama counties where the credit union has offices. Rotary members, as one of the largest civic organizations, believe in tackling some of the world's most persistent issues. To serve effectively, a person needs to have "a lot of enthusiasm, a servant's heart, and is always willing to help others,'' said Joe Newberry, Redstone's President and CEO, who has also served as president of the Rotary Club of Greater Huntsville. "Mary Grace has embraced these opportunities with a servant's attitude and continues to do so,'' Newberry said. Welcome, Madam Governor! Mary Grace Evans, Rotary Club Governor Newly Relocated Veterans Parkway Branch Holds Ribbon-Cutting e Fortress Boulevard Branch in Murfreesboro relocated in May to a new location at 5525 Franklin Road. e renamed Veterans Parkway Branch will allow Redstone to better serve our members in that area.
