Girls Being Girls
2023 Alumnae
Summer
Sleepover
W
e held the third annual Alumnae Summer
Sleepover in June, and it exceeded our
wildest expectations! Sisters from across time
zones and generations came together at the Beta
Tau house to reconnect, make new friends, and
honor milestones.
This increasingly popular event really highlights
what the bond of sisterhood means! During the
weekend, attendees grazed, played, and enjoyed
a perfect blend of sister time, group games,
and friend-group reunions. The activities had
broad appeal, so everyone enjoyed glamming
up for a sumptuous "Breakfast at Tiffany's,"
honing their competitive axe-throwing skills,
getting comfy for a late-night movie complete
with pj's, popcorn, and lots of giggles, sampling
tasty beverages from a local microbrewery, and
feasting on a magnificent brunch at Spurrier's
(where real Gators eat).
A few happy tears were also shed celebrating
several sisters' 25-year membership in a
special way. They shared moving personal
stories and reflections on the Sigma Kappa
values of personal growth, friendship,
service, and loyalty. Congratulations to the
sisters who received their 25-year pins during
the ceremony:
