The show will be held at The Soul of Michoacan restaurant at 2270 College Avenue in Forest City. Registration is from 10am until noon with a $20 entry fee. Owners who enter a vehicle in the show will be in a drawing for door prizes. There will be a 50/50 raffl e with several prizes available to winners in addition to half of the money raised. They will all receive 2023 Ivy Awards at the celebratory luncheon held at the Carolina Event Center, 376 Hudlow Road, Forest City on September 16. The Ivy Awards Luncheon is an outreach program of Omega Sigma Omega, the local chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated (AKA). The Ivy Awards highlight the works of individuals and organizations that positively impact Cleveland and/or Rutherford Counties and whose mission and work is also aligned with the international program initiatives of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated. Those initiatives are currently, Empower Our Families, Build Our Economic Wealth, Enhance Our Environment, Advocate for Social Justice, and Uplift Our Local Community.
