TEXAS A&M WHEN Sept. 30 WHERE Arlington, Texas KICKOFF TBD TV TBD e Aggies have dominated this game over the past decade, winning nine straight games from 2012-20. Arkansas' only win over that time frame came in 2021. Last season Texas A&M overcame a double- digit deficit to stun the Razorbacks 23-21. Texas A&M hired Bobby Petrino as the offensive coordinator in the offseason to try and kickstart a moribund offense. Heading into the opener, Conner Weigman and Max Johnson are in a battle for the starting quarterback role. Weigman took over late last season when Johnson was injured. is game has been dubbed the Southwest Classic and played at Cowboys AT&T Stadium for most of the 15 years of the game. Next season could be the last for the game as the contract ends and the SEC schedule with Texas and Oklahoma coming in next season is likely to alter the schedules moving forward. 7. TENNESSEE AT ALABAMA WHEN Oct. 21 WHERE Tuscaloosa, Ala. KICKOFF TBD TV TBD If this game is anything like last year's meeting, fans need to buckle their seat belts now. e Vols claimed a 52-49 win on Chase McGrath's 40-yard field goal as time expired, setting off a Knoxville celebration. Tennessee had leads of 21-7 and 28-10 before Alabama roared back to tie the score at 28-28. e Tide led 49-42 midway through the fourth quarter before Tennessee tied the game with 3:26 le to cap an 11-play, 75-yard drive, then won it on McGrath's walk-off kick. Many of the faces from last year's game are gone now, but this game should again be a classic between the offensive wizardry of Vols coach Josh Heupel and the defensive master Nick Saban on the other sideline. 8. GEORGIA VS FLORIDA WHEN Oct. 28 WHERE Jacksonville, Fla. KICKOFF TBD TV TBD e World's Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party returns to Jacksonville, Fla. Since the 1904, these longtime rivals have clashed and they've played on a neutral site since the 1930s. Georgia is trying to become the first team to win three straight national championships in the AP poll era, which started in 1936. Florida is one of only a handful of teams on Georgia's schedule that might have a chance to derail this Bulldog freight train. Georgia has won five of the past six meetings including 42-20 last season. 9. GEORGIA AT TENNESSEE WHEN Nov. 18 WHERE Knoxville, Tenn. KICKOFF TBD TV TBD e Vols had their best season in a long time last year, and were still steamrolled by Georgia, which won its second straight national championship. e Bulldogs punched Tennessee in the mouth early with a 21-3 lead and claimed a 27-13 win en route to a perfect season. Tennessee lost a lot of firepower from its offensive juggernaut last season including quarterback Hendon Hooker. Georgia also saw a high volume of players draed, but the difference is that the Bulldogs had a stockpile of five-star talent waiting for their turn. Now that get that chance. 10. ALABAMA AT AUBURN WHEN Nov. 25 WHERE Auburn, Ala. KICKOFF TBD TV TBD Hugh Freeze is back in the SEC, where he was a thorn in Nick Saban's side when he was the coach at Ole Miss. Can Freeze duplicate his magic on the plains? e Iron Bowl is one of college football's most storied rivalries and the Saban-Freeze angle only adds to that mystique. Alabama has won three straight in the series and seven of the past nine. Alabama leads this storied in-state rivalry 49-37-1 and has won three straight. COLLEGE FOOTBALL P R E V I E W
