Plan for daily eastbound
lane restrictions on I-10 in
Quartzsite beginning Aug. 24
Drivers should expect delays and
allow extra travel time
The Arizona Department of Trans-
portation advises drivers to plan
ahead for daily eastbound lane re-
strictions along Interstate 10 in
Quartzsite.
The following restrictions will occur
24 hours a day, 7 days a week begin-
ning Thursday, Aug. 24, and ending
Sunday, Sept. 24.
Eastbound I-10 will be reduced to
one lane between Dome Rock Road
(milepost 12) and Central Boulevard
(milepost 19).
A 14-foot vehicle width re-
striction will be in place.
The speed limit will be re-
duced to 55 mph.
Contractors are scheduled
to install barrier wall as
part of the Interstate 10,
Dome Rock Road to Scad-
dan Wash Pavement Reha-
bilitation project.
Drivers should plan for delays, obey
posted speed limits and traffi c con-
trol devices and use caution around
construction personnel.
