Page 5 T his past school year, incredible brothers graduated not only from UT, but also from Beta Omicron. These men have been crucial to the continuation of the Beta culture and have set an example for younger brothers to follow. Countless memories were made with each and every one of them, and we wish nothing but the best in their future endeavors. Please help me congratulate the following brothers: CASINO NIGHT On April 1, our Chapter successfully hosted our second annual Casino Night fundraiser. We organized a fantastic event at the Austin Club and dedicated the proceeds to support Texas 4000, a local non-profit focused on cancer research and services. Texas 4000 conducts the world's longest charity bike ride, spanning from Austin, Texas, to Anchorage, Alaska, and our very own Josh Bedingfield will embark on this journey in the summer of 2024, inspiring other brothers to join him. Thank you for the contributions from our members, families, and alumni. SERVICE EVENTS In February, five of our members participated in the Austin Marathon, while many others volunteered their time to support the event. Additionally, several members took part in the Longhorn run. Our Chapter has also actively engaged in philanthropy events organized by sororities. Our dedication to serving The University of Texas community and beyond has been commendable. LOOKING AHEAD We are excited to partner with Habitat for Humanity for an upcoming project this year. Habitat for Humanity aims to provide housing for underserved communities, and brother Ian Davidson '25 has been a devoted volunteer for this cause. Furthermore, we plan to revive our highly successful alumni mentorship program to benefit newer brothers who have yet to experience this valuable opportunity. Our Chapter is enthusiastic about nurturing and strengthening the relationships we have established with various organizations and contributing to our community through service. I am honored to serve Beta and work alongside all of you. Yours in _kai_, Andrew Abdalla '24 VP External Programming T his semester, our active members enthusiastically participated in intramural sports, including basketball and flag football. We are proud to announce that our IM teams successfully made it to the playoffs, showcasing our dedication and skills on the field. Looking ahead to the next year, we are determined to further improve and aim for a championship victory. In addition to our sporting achievements, our Chapter remains committed to excelling in academics while actively engaging in campus activities. We understand the importance of being well-rounded young men who embody the values of Beta. Through our endeavors, we strive to uphold these values and make a positive impact on our university community. Benjamin B. Bickford '23 Phil C. Brual '23 Declan M. Donnelly '23 Matthew J.
