Chapter Officers President Charlie Campbell '24 VP of Brotherhood Brenden Elgarten '25 VP of Communications Christopher Cardenas '24 VP of Education Grant Kieschnick '24 VP of External Programming Andrew Adballa '24 VP of Finance Will Fan '25 VP of Internal Programming Nick Whelan '25 VP of Recruitment Izcan Ordiz '24 VP of Risk Management Cole Smylie '24 S pring 2023 brought many fun social events for our brothers and the UT community— including the shift from Roundup to a new event known as West Fest! The executive team worked tirelessly to host a successful event with our partner fraternity, Beta Upsilon Chi. West Fest took place on March 25 with over 500 people in attendance—our largest spring event! This year, we had EDM duo NOTD as the headliner and indie rock sensation Arlie as our opener. This is more than a social event, however: West Fest attracts students from across the state of Texas (and beyond). Like in Roundup before, Texas IFC donates these proceeds to a chosen philanthropy. This year, West Fest consisted of 18 separate events, generating over $180,000 in revenue and $65,000 in profit, with over 6,800 total ticketed guests in attendance. I am proud to see our hard work pay off, and I look forward to organizing bigger events for Beta Omicron in the coming year! Yours in _kai_, Nick Whelan '25 VP Internal Programming West Fest: A New Tradition A packed house for West Fest! The 2023 executive team!
