thejewelrybook.com | 53 Q: What sets your work apart? A: Everything is one of a kind. I use a mix of metals, semi-precious stones and beads, and all kinds of pearls. I look for beautiful statement stones and clasps that are not just functional but integral to the design. Q: Who is your target customer? A: SHE is for anyone who wants to make a WOW statement. Our customers are confi dent, have a unique personal style, and appreciate one-of-a-kind wearable art that expresses their individuality. Q: Do you have a favorite gemstone? A: Quartz. I'm drawn to the raw beauty of the shapes and sizes. Q: Current passion? A: My fi rst passion is dance. I am a classically trained ballet dancer, from age 4. Even though I don't do it anymore, I continue to support dance and attend performances whenever I can. For 16 years I taught ballet in community education programs to make classes aff ordable for kids who wanted to dance. Essentially, I brought the studio to them. I schlepped around a lot. And I've been studying Argentine tango for seven years. Q: What's next for SHE? A: I continue to partner with NUBI Collections. I will collaborate with her at several runway shows this year including Los Angeles, Minneapolis, Dubai, and in 2024, Paris! Locally, I'll be doing pop-ups in May, June and July, and my jewelry continues to be featured in Twin Cities fashion boutiques. Most exciting – I was asked to produce my own show for New York Fashion Week next September. I'm working on that!
