RETAILOBSERVER.COM JULY 2023 26 while the newly co-located Lightfair reported an audience three times larger than past years. ICFF + WantedDesign reported 476 exhibitors from 35 countries, while Lightfair reported 300+ exhibitors. "The 2023 edition of ICFF + WantedDesign Manhattan proved to be very successful with a reorganized floor plan, improved visitor experiences, and new, curated spaces such as The Crossroads. As the anchor event for NYCxDESIGN, we look forward to continuing to develop strong programming and initiatives to cement our place as the leading design trade fair in the U.S.," said Odile Hainaut and Claire Pijoulat, brand directors, ICFF + WantedDesign Manhattan. "The opportunity to partner with NYCxDesign was a driving factor in Lightfair's return to New York this year, and successfully introduced New York's robust network of lighting designers with LightFair's vast catalogue of lighting suppliers. We couldn't have asked for a better way to foster the growth of design in a commercial and architectural lighting landscape," said Dan Darby, LightFair show director. Looking ahead, NYCxDESIGN will present Design Pavilion - New York's premiere public design exhibition founded by Ilene Shaw, October 12-22, 2023. NYCxDESIGN's city-wide poster exhibition, An Ode to NYC, returns in December 2023 for its fourth annual edition. The next NYCxDESIGN Festival will be held May 16-23, 2024, with ICFF + WantedDesign taking place May 19-21. ELMIRA STOVE WORKS UNVEILS THEIR NEWEST CURATED COLOR COLLECTION – MOUNTAIN VIEWS As an ode to the great outdoors, Elmira Stove Works, a leading manufacturer of premium vintage-style appliances and woodburning cookstoves, presents Mountain Views as their latest curated color collection. The Mountain Views Collection was inspired by the majestic Rocky Mountains, stretching across the western United States and into Canada. The collection consists of four hues: Douglas Fir, Alpine Lake, Azure Sky, and Sandstone, available as custom color options for Elmira's Northstar and Heritage product lines. Douglas Fir is a rich, deep green reminiscent of the lush forests encapsulating the Rocky Mountains. Alpine Lake, a beautiful milky turquoise blue, is as enchanting as the bodies of water that dot the foothills of the mountains. A striking light blue, Azure Sky, captures the essence of a beautiful clear day. Sandstone is a grounded beige- grey that emulates the peaks of the mighty mountain range. "Color lends so much versatility to our product line because it allows one's creativity and whimsy to shine through design," stated Tony Dowling, vice president of sales and marketing for Elmira Stove Works. "Over the years, we've seen the demand grow for custom- colored appliances, and a good portion of those orders are for families that love mountain life and embrace a rustic lifestyle that has become synonymous with the Elmira brand," concluded Dowling. In addition to the new Mountain Views Collection, Elmira offers its Northstar and Heritage product lines in a range of standard colors and over 1,200 custom options – including RAL and Axalta SpectraMaster Solid Colors. Consumers and designers can view Elmira's original color selections with the website's Visualizer – an immersive tool that lets participants build, save, and share their dream kitchen designs. Thousands of variations in room settings and features are possible, all rendered in near-photographic clarity and detail. When complete, a detailed price estimate for the appliance package is provided and saved for future reference. Additionally, designers can access the Northstar and Elmira lines on the 2020 Design Cloud's 3D CAD catalog.
