The active brothers never gave up and believed in the brotherhood's ideals and values. This belief and the effort they put forth is now paying dividends. SETTING MEMBERSHIP RECORDS There were only 15 active brothers when I joined Theta Xi, and by this spring semester, we had over 50. From the great work of everyone during recruitment, we have brought in the most members in one year in the history of the chapter. GOING BEYOND THE HOUSE With the participation of the entire house, we continued to serve the community through different philanthropy events. Through the work of Philanthropy Chairmen Zach Stankovics '23 (A1752) and John Michael-Dearstyne '23 (A1768), we were able to host and co-host multiple events. • In the fall, we did our yearly cleanup of Oakwood Cemetery and made a trip to Nathaniel Starbuck's grave. • Another event was Pie a Theta Xi, where brothers stood outside Sage Dining hall and could be pied by passers by for only a dollar. Money raised was donated to the Troy Fire Department. • To end the year, we co-hosted our Dog Days event with Pi Beta Phi. One of the most popular events, students can stop by and relax with therapy dogs right before finals. OUR BEST FOOT FORWARD The great work that brothers have put in has brought the house back to where we were before COVID-19. Brothers continue to uphold our ideals and values, displaying them in a good light to the community, and are focusing on boosting our social media presence so that we may make more connections and display our brand. We are grateful for continued support from alumni and recognize everything they do to better the fraternity. We are excited for the years to come and the direction that the house is trending, and we hope to see even more alumni back next year for 6294!
