4 Elizabeth Allen University of Denver – Psychology with a Minor in Art Elizabeth is a bright light for many and a loyal friend. Her positive and joyous demeanor even on the toughest days is what truly set her apart from the rest. I am excited to see the places you will go and the joy you will bring to whatever community is lucky to get you! –Will Whipple, advisor Barrett Bartley Fort Hays State University – Biology/Wildlife Ecology Barrett is a genuine, candid, and thoughtful member of our advising, and his great sense of humor will be missed. I wish him nothing but the best and look forward to keeping in touch with him. –Eric Neuteboom, advisor Ashley Brewer Everett Community College/Washington State University – Philosophy and Ethics or Psychology Ashley is a wonderful person! Her sensitivity gives her empathy. Her thoughtfulness gives her insight. She contributes in a very positive way to our advising, with unusually perceptive and wise comments that help everyone to broaden their perspectives. I wish her all the best in the future! –Rupert Randall, advisor Lear Eicher Washington University, St. Louis Lear is the epitome of cool, calm, and collected. He has been the rock in our advising, and I am so excited to see him embracing his interests and figuring out his future. He is exceptionally bright, even more kind, and such a subtle leader. I can't wait to meet Lear of the future! –Haley Bajorek, advisor Gisele French University of Minnesota- Twin Cities – Finance Gisele expresses herself with style, has a great sense of humor, and is not afraid to share her opinions. She has brought her positive attitude and grace to our advising, and we will miss her kindness and sense of humor. Keep being yourself and taking advantage of opportunities to grow and shine, Gisele! –Kara Schrader, advisor Cambill Garlock University of Kansas Honors Program – Math Some people must create magic. You, Cambill, are magic! Your intellect is bright, and your personality is colorful. The world is a better place thanks to your positive outlook and fashion-forward style. Yet, this is only the beginning. There is so much more for you! I'm excited for what happens next." –Amy Meyers, advisor Sofia Gonzalez Rhodes College – Biology A Seabury Academy talent contest for students might include a number of key areas, including leadership, athletics, arts, community service, and academic achievement. Sofia checks all these boxes. She is a dedicated and highly motivated young woman, and that is evident in every aspect of her life. I can't wait to see where her many talents take her! –Eric Nelson, advisor Marraya Griggs New York University Marraya is a kind, funny, creative, Winnie-the-Pooh loving, writing-wiz person who has been a source of fun in our advising. And her spirit hovers over everything we do. None of us can wait to see what her future holds! –Doug Weaver, advisor Jacob Hammann University of Kansas – Marketing Jacob has been a rockstar leader of our advising, and his character shines through every day. Jacob is encouraging and brings joy to those around him with his dry humor and charm. You will be missed, Jacob, and the whole advising wishes you well in the next chapter! –Will Whipple, advisor Gordon Hill Mount Mercy University – Business Administration and Sports Management and Volleyball Gordon … So much to say about this young man. Gordon has grown so much into a man that is respectable, opinionated, honest, loyal, and kind. We are all so proud of you for all the hard work you have put in over the years in sports, academics, and friendships—but most importantly, I am proud of you for the man that you have become! – Brian Rios, advisor Martin Hill Creighton University – Business Martin Hill is a special kind of leader in the Seabury community. It has been a privilege for me to see Martin grow over the years—Martin is confident and thoughtful, and he has a work ethic that will take him anywhere he wants to go. The future is yours, Martin! –Matt Patterson, advisor Truman Hill University of Kansas – Business and Finance Truman is a celebrity at BSA! Truman doesn't know how to do things halfway. Whether it's working hard in class, taking down our athletic rivals, or supporting his younger peers, Truman goes for gold. I'm excited to see what/who he will give his energy to in the future, because I know it/they will only be made stronger with his presence. –Haley Bajorek, advisor Henry Horan University of Denver – Environmental Science Henry really listens to others, he immediately takes to mentoring younger advisees and painstakingly cares for his relationships … for a guy who claims to be a bit of a misanthrope, Henry, your actions reveal your empathy and optimism for humanity.
