This bath's original design caused lots of
congestion, and the room's awkward layout
made it feel dark and closed-off. Without
changing the location of the windows or
plumbing, the design options were
somewhat limited, but removing an oversized
jacuzzi tub opened the area, and a new two-
sided floating vanity island created extra
room for the homeowners. The outcome was
a bright, open primary bathroom with a
natural feel and efficient use of space.

Once outdated and claustrophobic,
this master bathroom now feels larger
and renewed. The challenge was to
create a bright, open area without
moving walls. A freestanding tub, glass
shower wall, floating vanity, and wall-
hung toilet helped free-up floor space,
and a recessed linen closet provides
extra storage for towels and toiletries.
