Keeping with the homeowners' midcentury
modern style, ultra-thin wood-toned Shaker
cabinetry floats around this black-and-white
remodeled bathroom. The bright blue accent
tile in the shower packs a visual punch. To
create openness, a carpet, a zero-privacy
commode, and unused tub, and a cave-like
shower were removed. Flipping the locations
of unused closets opened the floor space and
doubled the shower size in this now retreat-
like bathroom.
