ALPHA TAU OMEGA GAMMA GAMMA CHAPTER ROSE-HULMAN INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY SPRING 2023 Hard Work Pays Off! W hat is it that we came to Rose-Hulman for? Did we come for the parties? The girls? The good sports teams? The easy cur- riculum? Chances are none of these are the reason, and that is okay. We came because we saw an opportunity. An opportunity to further our knowledge of the natures of this world, and with this new knowledge, we will apply it to corporations that play a significant role in the way the world operates. Nobody said Rose would be easy, and if they did, they were lying. Within ATĪ© I find driven men that graduated near the top of their high school class and are ready to seize the oppor- tunity. They want to take full advantage of it because they are the ones that want to make a positive impact in the world. The opportuni- ties become boundless as we stretch more each and every day. Just doing a bit more than last time results in compounded positive outcomes. As brothers, we motivate each oth- er, sit through classes together, and grind through homework together. The definition of our brotherhood runs parallel to how the US Military operates: No man left behind. We fight together, for each other. Not by force, but by choice. It would be inappropriate to not rec- ognize another year's worth of hard work, so please let me start by highlighting the very thing we come to Rose-Hulman to do, learn. Within our field of study, we have learned more than we probably ever thought we would, and it would be a waste if we were never able to apply it anywhere. The true challenge comes when we are asked to take what we have learned and actually use it. It is rewarding to see hard work from the class- room pay off in real world scenarios. It gives a sense of purpose and keeps our brothers driving. At the end of the day, we all would like to graduate with a plan secured. That plan being a job or graduate school. Below you will see active brothers career updates. Some brothers are graduating and going into full-time jobs. Other brothers are going on an internship for the summer. Others are taking summer classes and partici- pating in a cooperative assignment in the fall. No matter what this summer holds for our brothers, it feels good to be one step closer to walking across that stage and going off to apply what we have worked so hard for. Please join me in congratulating all these brothers for just completing another year at Rose-Hulman.
