On September 19, 2022, brother Terry lost his
sudden and brief battle with brain cancer at
the age of 57. He will forever be remembered
by his brothers, family and friends for his
infectious smile, boundless creativity and his
incredible ability to bring joy to everyone he
met. After graduating from ISU, Terry resided
with his family in San Diego where he ran his
own graphic design business. He leaves behind
his wife (and PIKE Little Sister) Kim, three
children Olivia, Hans, and Lars. Below is a link

Richard Peterson '48 has been residing in
and enjoying his retirement in Las Vegas, Nev.,

William Armstrong '49 worked for Dow
Corning Corporation for a little over 41 years.
He retired in 1993 as assistant to the president
of new ventures. His current interests
include golf and genealogy. He is proud of his
successful family, which consists of his son and
daughter, five grandchildren, and two great-
grandchildren. He lives in Colfax, N.C.

Bruce Thatcher '56 is working on his fifth book

Dave McGehe '58 and his wife are healthy.
He lives in Naples, Fla., and remains busy in
his community as treasurer of the Republican
Party of Lee County; quartermaster of
the Marine Corps League Detachment in
Naples; and the secretary of his homeowner's

Stevan Ryan '62 lives in Olathe, Kan., and
serves on the local host committee for the Big
12 basketball tournaments, takes part in the
Kansas City Marathon, is on the Kansas City
Irish Fest committee, and is a webmaster for
the Mid-America Running Association.

Al Weller '65 is a retired forester and remains
busy. He volunteers at his local state park, is
a deacon at his church, and works on his own
tree farm. He resides in Washington, N.C.

Randy Miles '68 retired in 2007 after 35
years with Boeing. He now splits his time
between Redmond, Wash., and Tucson, Ariz.

Eugene White '70 has been in the fitness
business for 40 years and is the CEO of
Fitness Fiduciary. In his career, he spent 10
years managing health clubs, including The
International Athletic Club, Racquetball
Resorts International, The University Club,
and Private Workout. During his 25 years as
a personal trainer, he was a "Trainer to the
Stars." He is a practicing gerontologist and has
studied the foremost authorities on anti-aging
in the world. His specialty is to develop well-
being programs for all ages and fitness levels.
He is the author of the well-being Program,
The Infinity Plan, a Blue Print for Anti-aging.
He resides in Garland, Texas.

Rod Ragan '72 enjoys traveling, golf, and
flying his Cessna 182 when he's not at work in
the oil and gas business. His son, daughter, and
son-in-law reside in Houston along with his
granddaughter. Rod resides in Houston, Texas.

Stephen Sheedy '72 moved back to the
Midwest to watch his granddaughters be
raised. Having them within a few blocks gives
him favorable access. "Now Thursday is my
favorite day of the week because it's 'Grandpa

Brad Bergren '80 retired as a Miller Brewing
Company executive in 2018. He has been married
to ISU Theta and Pike Dream Girl, Sherri
Bowman Bergren, for 35 years and counting
and lives in Brookfield, Wis. His son, Joey, is in
the entertainment business in Hollywood, Calif.
His daughter, Coley, is a 2019 ISU alumna in the
social media space in Minneapolis, Minn.

Todd Allard '85 is a semi-retired chief marketing
officer. He has been married to Shyla for 33 years
and they have two sons, Anson (25) and Nate
(23). Todd is the former chapter advisor of Beta
Chi Chapter at the University of Minnesota.
"Best, lifetime friends are still my Pike pals from
Beta Chi." He resides in Chanhassen, Minn.
