This year has certainly been a year of flourishing growth for Theta Chapter! We have been ecsta c to con nue in-person classes and chapter ac vi es throughout the school year. This year we have accomplished great tasks alongside so many highlights throughout the year: • In August we prepared for recruitment—welcoming home an 80-member pledge class. Within the first few weeks of the school year we were able to par cipate and share Mizzou's greatest tradi on: Homecoming. We were paired with the men of Delta Chi, working relessly on float, talent, service, and housedecks—earning the tle of 2022 Homecoming Champions! • The Kappa Klassic golf tournament was hosted in the fall during Mizzou's Family Weekend. Family and friends helped us raise over $ 50,000 for our three beneficiaries: Cedar Creek Therapeu c Riding Center, The Kappa Kappa Gamma Founda on, and The JED Founda on, a founda on devoted to awareness and preven on of teen and young adult suicide. • We ini ated our new members in October and celebrated 152 years of Kappa Kappa Gamma and 147 years of Theta Chapter during a Founders Day celebra on. • Upon their return to campus a er Winter Break, Chapter Council's 19 new officers made significant strides toward Theta Chapter's con nued success! Events began to pick up with the start of Greek Week. We were paired with the men of Pi Kappa Phi and par cipated in service events, the blood drive, as well as talent and banner. As we begin to wind down for the semester, many members have begun prepara ons for final exams and summer break. We are also preparing for 2023 fall Formal Recruitment, excited to meet New Members, while wishing our seniors the best of luck in their future endeavors!
