UNDERGRADUATE HIGHLIGHTS MissouriAlpha • 2 • TheSigEpTigerHeart EPIC ROCK CONCERT RAISES FUNDS FOR 405 K udos to Vern Smith '73 for pulling together a Missouri Alpha fundraiser reunion at the Elks Club in Manchester in January and to Jim Walker '71 for bringing his talented band to provide our entertainment for the evening. Every decade from the 1950s through the 2020s was represented, as brothers generously funded the recent structural projects undertaken at 405 Kentucky. Vern is already planning an even bigger affair for January 2024! Poor picture of a great band: Jim Walker '71, drummer and leader of the Famous Jim Walker Band, provides fabulous evening entertainment. Our classic entryway (shown before and after major structural work) was completed over winter break. Crews also replaced kitchen floor structural members after years of moisture damage. Kudos to Steve Pfaff '85 for driving these critical projects and to many of you for your financial support. The Elks Club exclusively hosted Missouri Alphas for the night and was filled to capacity with brothers and spouses. Here, Dave Weaver '83 and Scott Pidcock '87 reminisce. ⚫ Andrew Hinkamp '24 and Evan Danaher '24 are both serving on the current IFC Executive Board. Jaden Black '25 is representing SigEp on the IFC Taskforce. ⚫ Noah Voss '26 and the recruitment team have already brought 13 outstanding men into the fraternity this spring semester, with several weeks remaining. ⚫ SigEp is paired with Alpha Gamma Sigma and Phi Mu for Greek Week with a "Beach Boys" theme.
