he National Association of the Remodeling Industry is pleased to
announce the 2023 National CotY winners.
Each year, the National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI)
recognizes excellence in remodeling with the prestigious Contractor of the Year
(CotY) Awards. NARI members from across the nation may submit a project for
consideration in 48 categories, from kitchen and bathroom to exterior and
outdoor living spaces.
All projects submitted for judging must be an improvement or an addition to
an existing structure, except for one category: Residential Detached Structure.
Otherwise, new construction projects are ineligible.
An impartial panel of judges, all experts in the industry or associated fields,
select the winners. They review before-and-after photos and project
descriptions for each anonymous entry. Evaluations are based on problem-
solving, functionality, aesthetics, craftsmanship, innovation, degree of
functionality, and entry presentation.
The 2023 National CotY Award program's outstanding class of entries grew
to 455, representing nearly $135 million in remodeling projects. NARI
congratulates the 42 National Winners chosen from a competitive field of nearly
200 Regional Winners.
